Last week’s post included a recipe for homemade dog treats. Of course, you can bake up some snacks for your cat, as well. Use a cat treat recipe, though! But it doesn’t cost much at all to head to a local pet supply store and pick up a little catnip, either. Once you have a little catnip on hand, it’s pretty easy to make a toy using some fleece, polyester fiber, and embroidery floss. DIY Cat Perch
Does your kitty like to survey the world from a grand height? Consider giving her her very own cat perch at home! You can purchase expensive perches, but here’s some information on how to make your own perch. You just need some scrap wood, basic tools, and a towel or carpet remnants. Your cat will spend hours up there, enjoying the view, and the gift will be well worth the time you took crafting it.
