The idea for Boulevard Bark came from personal experience. I’ve always had pets of my own, and I know how it feels to try balance work and travel while also ensuring my animals are consistently loved and cared for. I have been lucky to have my family (the Boulevard Bark team!) around me to provide my pets with safe, loving care in a warm, happy home, when I need to work or travel. The confidence I feel knowing that my animals are healthy, safe and loved is a tremendous gift. I want to gift each Boulevard Bark client with the same peace of mind, and show their animals the same love I show my own.
My love for animals is the driving force behind my work as a Certified Professional Pet Sitter. I am certified in animal first aid and CPR through Pet Emergency Education. I’ve spent my life around animals, and have extensive pet sitting experience. As a member of Pet Sitters International, I regularly pursue continuing education for professional pet sitters.
My work is rooted in my passion for helping those who can’t speak up for themselves. I know how I want my own animals to be cared for, and how it feels to have a dearly-beloved special-needs pet. I created Boulevard Bark because I want to see animals comfortable and cherished even in the moments when their owners cannot be with them. And I want their owners to rest easy, knowing their furry friends are in the hands of compassionate pet-care professionals.
